How Spray Foam Insulation Omaha Works

Spray Foam Insulation Omaha insulates and air seals houses, garages, shops and outbuildings across the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro. We spray open-cell and closed-cell foam, blow cellulose and fiberglass into attics and closed walls, and remove old insulation that is wet, contaminated or in the way.

Every job starts with a visit. We go into the attic, the basement or crawl space and any room you have trouble with, measure what is there and look at its condition. We check the places that cost houses here the most: the rim joist around the foundation, open wall tops and chases in the attic, recessed lights, bath fans and the hatch, and the floors of bonus rooms over garages. We also look for the things insulation should never hide, such as roof leaks, wet wood, pest damage, knob-and-tube wiring or vermiculite.

Then we explain what we would do. Foam is not the right answer for every surface. On an open attic floor, sealing the leaks and blowing loose fill to depth usually costs less and works as well. On rim joists, roof decks, bonus rooms and steel buildings, foam usually earns its price. If two approaches would work, we price both.

How we work

  • Look first. No price until we have seen and measured the space.
  • Itemize. Each area on the quote shows material, depth, target R-value and price.
  • Seal before we insulate. Leaks get closed before insulation covers them.
  • Protect your home. Floors and belongings are covered, work areas are closed off and foam areas are ventilated until cured.
  • Be straight about rebates. If OPPD's weatherization rebate or a MidAmerican program might apply, we show you the rules. We never promise money a utility has not approved.
  • Agree before changes. Work starts when you approve the quote, and any change is agreed in writing.
